Villa Holiday Destinations Post Lockdown

Have you been thinking about your next holiday? Probably not only thinking but researching and planning.

A crucial part of holiday planning post lockdown is finding safe and hygienic accommodation. This is why villa stays are perfect. Yes. Even after being in lockdown, another house is a wonderful choice. But with a view, in the perfect location, immersed with food and culture.

Here are 3 Villa Holiday Destination ideas for your post-lockdown holiday.

Bali

This stunning province located in Indonesia is a paradise full of villas.

One of the most serene yet lively destinations in Bali is Sanur. Choose from private villas with your own pool. Or resort-style accommodation villas, with a shared pool, buffet breakfast, and spa facilities.

Maybe you are over cleaning your house twice a day or cooking for no reason other than boredom after lockdown? Then consider a private villa that comes with a cook, cleaner, and driver. Balinese people are considerate and friendly. They will never intrude and no task is too much trouble for them. Fancy fresh-squeezed orange juice for breakfast? Not a problem. Your personal chef will head out to the market to buy the oranges that morning and squeeze them ready to serve. Some villas can provide you the contact details for a mobile masseuse. A massage poolside for even more blissful relaxation. Yes, please.

Whatever your villa budget in Bali, you will enjoy a poolside drink in the shade of a palm tree.

Capetown

Often not the first place that comes to mind when planning a villa holiday, Cape Town has something for everyone. From hiking to safaris, wine tasting to surfing.

Can’t decide if you want to cook for yourself or eat out? Check out the luxury villas at the V & A waterfront. With gorgeous views and the perfect location for Cape Town attractions, the V & A houses dozens of restaurants; for a variety of budgets and cuisines. My personal favourite is Karabu; featuring a menu of traditional South African dishes, local produce, and award-winning wines.

Not keen on the bustle of cities? Head to the coast to rent a beachside villa in Camps Bay. This trendy area boasts coastal and mountain views. Love nature? The iconic Table Mountain is only 4 kilometres away.

Finnish Lapland

Cozy up by a fire and head to the magical Finnish Lapland.

The beauty of Finnish Lapland is that you don’t need to wait until Winter to visit. Do you love nature, national parks, and hiking? Then Autumn is a stunning time to visit with forest trees drenched in seasonal colour.

What makes Finnish Lapland even more exciting and unique, is if you can get a glimpse of the famous Northern Lights. (This is quite possible as they appear approximately 200 nights per year). Certain villas offer features such as wake-up calls when the lights come out. Or opt for a see-through roof-style villa?

Whatever your holiday style, there are villas around the world that can cater for a couples retreat, loud reunions, or family bonding and they are all desperate to welcome you for your post lockdown stay.
